Excess skin can develop on the inner and outer thighs after significant weight loss, from natural aging, genetics, or other factors. This loose, sagging skin can be removed with a thigh lift surgery, also known as a thighplasty. At his Houston practice, triple board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Henry Mentz performs thigh lifts to remove excess skin from the inner and outer thigh so you can have a smooth, slender legs that match your lower body. In some cases, liposuction may be included, most often on the inner thigh, to remove stubborn pockets of fat that may prevent smooth results.

I did not, for one moment, feel spoken down to or intimidated by his brilliance. He was kind, professional and has a great sense of humor. This man is an artist."- J.R. / Facebook / Aug 16, 2017

A medial thigh lift restores a firmer, proportionate appearance to sagging inner thighs. The incision placement for this procedure depends upon the extent of excess skin and fat that must be removed. For patients with a moderate amount of excess skin, the incision is commonly placed in the groin fold. When the amount of excess tissue is more significant, an incision may be necessary along the length of the inner thigh.
After the thigh lift is complete, the area will be covered in surgical dressings and a compression garment may be used to promote healing. Patients will have bruising, swelling, and some discomfort for the first 2 weeks after their surgery, but after this they may begin light activity. Patients should not try strenuous activity, like heavy lifting and running, until 6-8 weeks after their surgery.
Multiple procedures will reduce the costs for anesthesia and facility time. Please be aware that the prices listed below are for an estimate of fees only and that you will need a consultation to confirm any pricing.
