Belotero Balance is a newer hyaluronic acid based filler used to temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth). The filler integrates with your skin’s tissue, maintains normal movement and facial expressions, and feels natural to the touch. In clinical trials, patients who had half their face treated with Belotero and half with another filler felt the results of the Belotero were better and smoother. Triple board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Henry Mentz offers Belotero Balance injections by his licensed, experienced staff at his Houston MedSpa.
"I have been a patient of Dr. MENTZ for more than 15 years. He is an artist...very gifted. He is extremely kind and thoughtful. His staff is conscientious, diligent and very responsive. Choose Dr Mentz and you will be ecstatic with the quality and aesthetics. Also HIGHLY recommend Renee at the spa for fillers, Botox excetera. She is just the best."- L.F. / Yelp / Mar 01, 2017

"I had an amazing experience. Would do it again. - I was lucky to choose Dr. Mentz as my surgeon. I am 13 days out at this time so still early in the recovery process but I am very satisfied with my progress. I had the remainder of my sutures removed yesterday and am looking forward to the future with my new much improved face. Dr. Mentz and his "family" of caring staff are beyond what everyone should look for in a PS. I know I chose the best!! - - I was lucky to choose Dr. Mentz as my surgeon. Belotero Balance is injected into needed areas of the face with a very fine needle for minimal discomfort. Since Belotero does not require an allergy test, a typical Belotero treatment session lasts about 20 minutes and can usually be performed the same day as your consultation. Results usually last about 6-12 months, but the results for each patient will vary. Patients are encouraged to schedule touch up treatments when they see their results begin to diminish.

Belotero Vs. Other Fillers?@headingTag>
Belotero Balance is unique from other dermal fillers because it has a lower risk of lumps forming under the skin due to its softer consistency. Belotero is also less likely to cause a blue tint under the skin in certain areas, like around the eyes.
Patients will be able to return to their normal activities immediately after their Belotero treatment, but some patients may have mild swelling, redness, and itching in the treated area for 1-2 days. You should contact our office if you are concerned by any of your side effects or if they last more than 2 days.
Best Treatment Areas?@headingTag>
