Welcome to our comfortable, state-of-the-art clinic. It’s our hope and goal that as soon as you walk through our doors, you feel relaxed and cared for.

Located on a sprawling medical campus and featuring the most advanced technologies, our practice has become one of the largest and most respected private cosmetic plastic surgery centers in Texas since its establishment in 1996. Dr. Mentz’s office includes a welcoming reception area, several consultation rooms, an extensive medical spa, and a convenient minor procedures room.

About Dr. Mentz

For more than 30 years, Dr. Henry Mentz has practiced the art and science of aesthetic plastic surgery. As the first triple board-certified aesthetic surgeon in the U.S., Dr. Mentz draws upon his diverse and extensive training to constantly perfect and refine surgical procedures.

His excellence as a surgeon has led to his membership selection to the most respected plastic surgery organizations, including The American Society of Plastic Surgeons; The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons; Fellow, American College of Surgeons; and Fellow, International College of Surgeons.

His peers have consistently recognized his achievements as a plastic surgeon through his nomination and selection as a “Top Doctor” by H Texas magazine, and his nomination as a “Super Doc” in Texas Monthly magazine. His expertise and insights have been requested by numerous media outlets on television, radio, and magazine publications including Health and Fitness magazine, The Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal, Beauty magazine, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Plastic Surgery News, Plastic Surgery Products, Longevity magazine, International MuscleMag, and Texas Woman magazine.

Consultation room

Within our facility, Dr. Mentz’s clinic includes four private consultation rooms that feature computer imaging to help patients envision their results; educational materials for patients to read or go over with Dr. Mentz, and a changing area.

Our consultation rooms are all about education, privacy, and comfort. Your consultation is where you can discuss any questions, concerns, needs, or goals with the doctor about the procedure or recovery details. This is also the time where Dr. Mentz will perform a physical exam and take before and after photos.

Medspa

Our practice has a large medical spa tethered to it with 14 specialized aestheticians, registered nurses, and nurse practitioners. As a partnership between Dr. Mentz and our ACPS Spa, our medspa provides cosmetic injectable treatments such as Botox®, Restylane®, Juvéderm®, Radiesse®, and much more. These injectables are administered in luxurious and relaxing surroundings by trained, licensed, experienced technicians. The devices owned by Dr. Mentz and the spa include ThermiRF, photofacials, the Sciton® TRL laser, BBL® lasers, hair removal lasers, a NeoGraft® hair transplant system, PRP microneedling, nanofat grafting, and PRP microneedling, and InMode’s radiofrequency devices for FaceTite™, BodyTite™.

Minor procedures room

The well-equipped minor procedures room includes ProNox™ nitrous oxide for comfort, as well as all the equipment necessary for procedures such as eyelid blepharoplasty and small liposuctions. Sometimes patients are able to have their treatment done in the minor procedures room the very same day as their consultation.

Reception

Our reception area is very comfortable, with plenty of seating, water, coffee, snacks, educational materials about procedures, and a big-screen TV. You can wait comfortably, complete any needed paperwork, or ask our friendly staff any questions you may have before your appointment with Dr. Mentz.

The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery

In 1996, Dr. Mentz became a founding partner at The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery, one of the largest private plastic surgery practices in the nation specializing in aesthetic surgery. Clinical research has been an important focus at ACPS and for Dr. Mentz, allowing for the development of innovative techniques, procedures, and safety improvements that have been presented to plastic surgeons all over the world.

Dr. Mentz, facelift specialist

Facial rejuvenation and body contouring are the primary focus of Dr. Mentz’s practice, which is devoted completely to cosmetic plastic surgery.

Through the years, he has refined and perfected surgical techniques to achieve his primary goal: to give patients a natural and youthful appearance that is minimally detectable, fresh, and refined.

The Mentz Foundation

As a surgeon, Dr. Mentz finds much reward not only in the contributions he has made as a speaker, author, and instructor, but also through the charitable work of his Mentz Foundation. He and his staff donate a portion of his practice’s medical spa profits to support local and international medical missions. They have traveled to Roatan, an island off of Honduras, to provide support to the medical clinic through the donation of medical supplies. In addition, they have conducted medical screenings to help individuals living in impoverished neighborhoods, and donated school supplies to the Sandy Bay Alternative School.
