Breast implants alone do not lift breasts. If you are low-breasted and want to improve breast sagging then you would benefit from a breast lift. Dr. Mentz’s innovative technique allows patients to achieve the following: reposition the nipple-areola higher on the breast mound, tighten breast tissue, and improve overall breast shape.

Once lifted, if your breasts require added volume, saline or silicone implants can be added at the same time to improve the shape and gain fullness. All stitches are dissolvable and covered with surgical tape for 3 weeks post-op.

Breast lift surgery is a 2-3 hour outpatient procedure that is performed while a patient is under general anesthesia. Dr. Mentz performs surgery at his private AAAASF-certified SurgiCenter facility in Houston, Texas, where patients are monitored and cared for by board-certified physician anesthesiologists and Dr. Mentz’s highly skilled team of medical professionals.

With this technique, saline implants are placed within the breasts during a breast lift and inflated with saline approximately two weeks later in a quick office procedure. During this visit, a trained professional will change dressings, monitor your recovery, help with medication, and provide Dr. Mentz with an update on your progress.

Your breasts may be swollen and bruised for a few days, but Dr. Mentz will prescribe pain medication to relieve any discomfort. Most women can return to work in 1 week and resume strenuous exercise in about 1 month or when Dr. Mentz advises.
